Pendleton – Pendleton District Commander Lieutenant Tom Dujmovich recently returned from attending the FBI National Academy program in Quantico, Virginia. The 256th Session of the FBI National Academy was a ten week course covering advanced investigative, management and fitness training for officers from 47 states and 23 international countries.

The training was provided by FBI Academy instructional staff that includes Special Agents and other staff who hold advanced degrees in their field. Many of the courses qualify for undergraduate and graduate credits from the University of Virginia. A total of 47,254 officers have graduated from the academy since it began in 1935.

Dujmovich, a Randolph County native, graduated from Monroe Central High School in 1990. He graduated from Wabash College in 1994 with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and then earned a Masters Degree in Psychology from Ball State in 1995.

He then graduated from the Indiana State Police Academy in 1996 and was assigned to the Versailles District until 1999. In 1999 he transferred to the Redkey Post where he served as a road trooper until he was promoted to Squad Sergeant in 2006. When the Redkey Post was closed in 2010 he served as a Squad Sergeant at the Pendleton District before being promoted to District Lieutenant in 2012. Dujmovich resides in Delaware County.
