Types of Grants Available:
Lincoln Public Art Program
In partnership with the Indiana Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission and the Indiana Historical Bureau, the Arts Commission chose artist Will Clark to design and create a piece of art or an arts experience reflective of the period of Lincoln’s life associated with Indiana. Individual Artist Program
The Individual Artist Program (IAP) funds projects to aid in artist career development.
American Masterpieces
The National Endowment for the Arts will sponsor performances, exhibitions, tours, and educational programs allowing audiences to experience art forms that represent the best of our cultural and artistic legacy.
Arts in Education Granting Program
The Arts in Education (AIE) Granting Program was created to help support curriculum needs, impact individual student engagement and performance, and develop a long term commitment to the arts in schools at the primary and secondary levels. Schools are asked to develop a working partnership with an artist, organization, business or group to develop and implement a successful project. All projects must meet current state curriculum standards.
Presenters Touring Program
This program was developed to assist Indiana Presenters presenting Indiana artists/ensembles and Indiana producers to tour Indiana. Artists must be Indiana residents or employed as part of an arts organization based in Indiana. The emphasis will be on reaching rural audiences.
Capacity Building Program
Provides support, over 2 years, for organizational assessment, long range planning, and plan implementation.
Multi-regional Major Arts Institutions
Provides operating support for the ongoing artistic and administrative functions of arts organizations that provide programs and services on a statewide or multi-regional basis with an emphasis on education.
Statewide Arts Service Organizations
Provides financial support to organizations offering technical assistance on a statewide or multi-regional basis, with an emphasis on arts providers in underserved communities.
Regional Arts Partners
