"The Art of Community Engagement: How-To Artist Workshops for Developing Site-Specific Arts Projects" is designed to assist artists in submitting and developing successful site specific community engagement activities.
Each workshop will feature an individual artist with experience in site specific projects, as well as IAC staff to assist with information about the grant application process. The three workshops to assist artists interested in applying for the next round of grants through the Arts in the Parks and Historic Sites program. The workshops are planned as follows:
July 10 at Fort Harrison State Park
July 31 at Indiana Dunes State Park
August 14 at Brown County State Park.
The workshops are free, but attendance is limited to 30 so registration will be required to attend. Presenters, timing and agendas are still being developed. Continue to check back for more information.
The Indiana Arts Commission produces capacity building workshops focused on providing organizations, individuals, and communities with the tools they need to advance the arts in Indiana. This section will be updated as soon as new workshops are scheduled.
