If you have recently submitted a paper application, you may not submit a second, on-line application. Restricted Employee permits (required for persons 19-20 years old) and Alcoholic Beverage permits (retailers and dealers) cannot apply on-line at this time.
If you are applying for an Employee permit and have held a driver's license from a state other than Indiana during the last ten (10) years, you may not apply for your permit on-line. You must file a paper application.
Employee Permits
- First Time Application
Click First Time Application to apply for a new Employee or Volunteer Employee Permit. - Renewal
Click Renewal to renew an existing, Employee or Volunteer Employee Permit. Permits are eligible to renew 90 days prior to expiration and can be renewed until they have been expired for 4 months. Your login ID is your Permit Number and your password is the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number.
