The Bureau of Motor Vehicles offers identification cards for Indiana residents of any age who do not have a driver's license. You cannot hold both an identification card and a driver's license. To get an identification card you must visit a license branch and present the required documents of identification. 

For those who will be at least 18 years of age and eligible to vote in the next general, municipal, or special election Fees
  • New
  • Renewed
  • Amend
  • Replaced a lost, stolen, or destroyed card
  • Valid for six years

 FREE
For those who will NOT be at least 18 years of age or who are otherwise ineligible to vote, in the next general, municipal or special election Fees
  • New
  • Renewed
  • Amend
  • Replaced a lost, stolen, or destroyed card
  • Valid until next renewal date
