Within 60 days of becoming an Indiana resident, a person must obtain a certificate of title for all vehicles owned by that person.
All out-of-state vehicles require VIN inspections. This inspection may be done at the license branch for no charge. A law enforcement officer may charge up to $5.00 for this service. A form for the officer to complete is available by clicking the link below.
