Skip your next license branch visit and create an online myBMV account. Your personal myBMV account is a virtual license branch that gives you more information about your records as well as the ability to securely access many services online.

Accessing the services provided through your myBMV account is fast, secure and easy to use. The myBMV online service is unavailable on Sundays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. for scheduled maintenance.

You do not need to create a myBMV account to receive a $5 discount for each vehicle renewed online, but without a myBMV account you will not be able to access many other online services.
When you don't have time to wait for your new license plate or vehicle registration to arrive in the mail, use one of our Self-Service Terminals and leave with your renewed vehicle registration. Simply bring your vehicle registration, Social Security number, insurance information, and a form of payment to one of our Self-Service Terminal locations. You can change your insurance information and your address if you have moved within your current county of residence.
Most Self-Service Terminals are available 24 hours a day and accept MasterCard and Visa debit or credit cards, and eChecks. All Self-Service Terminals are regularly unavailable on Sundays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. for scheduled maintenance.
