Currently, the Meth Free Indiana Coalition, in partnership with the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute, the Indiana State Police and the Office of the Governor, is working to create public awareness of the changes required of retail establishments by Indiana's new Meth Law. A number of print materials are available to assist retailers and partners in this effort. They include:

Law Enforcement Facts

The manufacturing and abuse of methamphetamine in Indiana, as well as other parts of the United States, knows no boundaries.  On a typical day in Indiana, State Police will locate two meth labs.

    • Drug laboratory arrests made (only) by the Indiana State Police decreased 42.72% from 2004-2006. (Indiana State Police)
    • The number of meth labs seized (only) by Indiana State Police decreased 31.31% from 2004-2006. (Indiana State Police)
    • Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Forces, funded by ICJI, seized over 55,000 grams of methamphetamine from 2002-2006. (Indiana Criminal Justice Institute)
    • State Clan Totals 1999-2006
    • 2006 Lab Stats through December 31, 2006
