ICJI > Youth Services > About Youth Services About Youth Services

Young people under the age of 18 occupy a special place within the state's juvenile justice system. Not yet adults, they are cast into a world which often requires maturity beyond their years. ICJI's Youth division recognizes that Indiana's juvenile offenders and at-risk youth have special needs. The mission of ICJI's Youth division is to improve the juvenile justice system, support projects/initiatives that aim to prevent and/or reduce juvenile offending and promote positive youth development through community-wide collaboration.
