Mission: To Improve Indiana's Juvenile Justice System, prevent juvenile crime and promote positive youth development through community collaboration.

Improving Juvenile Justice & Promoting Positive Youth Development

Hoosiers under the age of 18 occupy a special place within the State's justice system. Not yet adults, they are cast into a world which often requires maturity beyond their years. Because Indiana's juvenile offenders and at-risk youth have special needs, problems and concerns, the Institute's Youth Division works to improve the juvenile justice system, support projects/initiatives that prevent and/or reduce juvenile offending and promote positive youth development through community-wide collaboration.
