National Center for victims of crime (NCVC) assists grass-roots organizations to provide victim services through training and technical assistance. Information is available by accessing their website at http://www.nvc.org/.
The Victim-Assistance Online a Canadian based organization available at http://www.vaonline.org/, seeks to provide information to victim-assistance organizations, service providers, and professionals in related field.
The National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS), available at http://www.ncjrs.org/ is a national and international clearinghouse for the exchange of criminal justice information, established according to a congressional mandate under the auspices of the National institute of Justice.
The National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA), found at www.try-nova.org, provides full-text articles on crisis intervention. Other publications, such as training materials, information packets and bulletins, and special publications are only available for a fee. NOVA has also compiled and posted a comprehensive list of toll-free crisis telephone numbers on its website.
