ICJI > Other Funding >  > Office for Victims of Crime FY 2003 Competitive Discretionary Grant Program Solicitations Office for Victims of Crime FY 2003 Competitive Discretionary Grant Program Solicitations

OVC is accepting applications for its FY 2003 Competitive Discretionary Grant Program Solicitations and Application Guidelines. This kit describes programs OVC intends to fund in FY 2003. Topics include elder abuse, victims' rights laws, victim issues, training, SVAA, and education. To begin the application and/or registration process, please go to http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/fundopps.html. Access full text at http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/ovc/fund/dakit.html . OVC will not be publishing hard copies of the solicitations or the Program Plan.

For users who have never applied for other OJP funding using GMS: Log on to www.ojp.usdoj.gov/fundopps.htm to establish an account and, if desired, complete your application in advance. Please remember, however, that your application cannot be submitted until you receive an e-mail from OVC approving your user ID.

For registered OJP users: Log on to http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/fundopps.html to begin the application process. Please be sure to know the location of the three files that will need to be electronically attached (this information can be found in the Quick Start Guides) . Although the guides are similar, they are not the same-one is for Victim Compensation and one is for Victim Assistance.

For immediate assistance, call the GMS Hotline at 888-549-9901.
