Mary MurdockChief Operations Officer

Mary L. Murdock is the Chief Operations Officer for the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.

Mary oversees the agency’s programmatic and communications responsibilities, as the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute serves as the State Administrating Agency (SAA) of federal grant funds. Prior to being promoted to her current position, Mary served as the Deputy Director of Administration at the Institute.

Before coming to ICJI, Mary was the Chief Operations Officer at the Marion County Justice Agency. Mary provided managerial oversight, and assisted the Director in formulating financial policies as well as helped to develop comprehensive administrative prototypes that proved to accommodate the needs of the agency and its staff.

Mary’s professional experience directing projects in human resources management and organizational development is essential to her role as the Chief Operations Officer at ICJI and makes her a great asset to the agency.

Mary received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University in 1996.
