Student Complaints
If you have a complaint against an institution regulated by the Commission, you may submit a formal complaint. For more information contact the Director of Regulatory Compliance at our in-state toll free number at 800-227-5695 or 317-232-1328.
If the nature of your complaint would be substantiated with any type of documentation (i.e. contracts, brochures, catalogs, etc.), please provide copies of these documents with your written complaint.
It is also important that if particular people representing the institution told you information that you believe to be incorrect, that you provide those individual's names and/or positions that they held with the school.
The staff review into your complaint will proceed when your written information has been submitted to the commission.
A copy of your formal complaint will be sent to the school for response. The institution has two weeks from receiving a copy of your complaint to provide a written response to your allegations.
Upon conclusion of review of the documentation provided by both parties, you will be notified in writing of the commission staff's determination after both parties claims, responses and documentation have been reviewed for determination as to whether any state laws, rules or regulations have been violated or of any school policy and/or procedure violations.
Student Refunds
If you were a student at the time of a school closure, you may be eligible for a student refund. If you completed the program you are not eligible. For more information contact the Records Administrator at our in-state toll free number at 800-227-5695 or 317-232-1322.
