The Certification Section is responsible for training course approval, testing, certifying, and recertifying individuals, as firefighters and emergency medical personnel. The section also licenses regulated explosive use blasters and organizations.

ALL candidates for ALL written fire examinations should have access to an ERG for use during their test.

ATTENTION DISPATCH CENTERS
If you received a notice about certification of emergency medical dispatchers that was to be effective January 1, 2007, PLEASE DISREGARD THE NOTICE.  The rules that will govern how the certification process operates will be effective in late fall 2007.   If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail Robin Stump rstump@dhs.in.gov
