Indiana Department of Homeland Security proudly introduces the following Unit Leader courses:

Registration Process

  • Submit a FEMA application form 119-25-2 (formerly 75-5) and all prerequisite certificates to your State Training Officer for initial approval. STO will forward to the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) for final approval.  Download Form 119-25-2

  • Applicants will be notified by IDHS, within 10 business days, that your application has been received.

Registration Fee: None

Selection Criteria:
NIMS ICS position specific training should be completed by personnel who are regularly assigned to the functional, support, or unit leader positions on USFA or other Type III All-Hazards Incident Management Teams (AHIMT) or by those persons who desire to seek credentials/certification in those positions.

Logistics
Travel costs, lodging, and baggage charges will be reimbursed by FEMA. The program does not pay for the cost of meals or incidentals such as cab fare, rental cars, or transportation costs from the airport to the location of the class/lodging.
