Department of Natural Resources properties combine fun, the outdoors and learning opportunities for the ideal field trip. However, the secret is out. Property facilities and interpretive naturalists find that their schedules fill up fast. To assure that your class can take advantage of educational opportunities on Indiana's natural resources, call the property you'd like to visit well in advance to schedule an activity.

State parks and reservoir properties have full-time interpretive naturalists at many locations who are great resources for field trips and educational information.

Group Program Fees

Beginning in January 2004, a $1/person fee will be charged for on-site educational programs at state parks and reservoirs and at Wyandotte Woods SRA. A $2/person fee will be charged for off-site programs at schools or other locations. Funds collected are used to support interpretation and education at our properties. For more information about this fee, download our Group Program Fee FAQ.
