Join us this year at the Ford Hoosier Outdoor Experience for the first annual Harrison Hustle 5k Fun Run & Walk. Enjoy a fun and festive military-themed 5k race that honors Fort Harrison State Park’s unique history. The race will start at 9 a.m. as participants march to the music around the paved Fort Harrison Trace trail alongside costumed re-enactors. After reaching the finish line, snacks, swag bags, and a group stretch workshop led by Indiana Trail Running will be available. Top male and female finishers overall and in each age group will be decorated with top honors and prizes at 10:30 a.m.

All proceeds will go to the Indiana Natural Resources Foundation to help fund the Ford Hoosier Outdoor Experience, Indiana’s largest hands-on outdoor recreation event. The Indiana Natural Resources Foundation has been helping to expand public lands, protect our natural resources, increasing outdoor recreational opportunities, and provide educational outreach, like the Hoosier Outdoor Experience, for 25 years. Participants are encouraged to attend the free event after the race and enjoy the more than 50 different outdoor activities.
