Hunting, Fishing, and Trapping Events
Events held on any Division of Fish and Wildlife property that involves handling and shooting of firearms will be strictly organized and conducted by responsible, experienced adults. They will be paired with young participants to constantly monitor their actions while they are holding, handling and shooting firearms. They will act as mentors to teach firearm safety and safe hunting practices.
Participants in Division of Fish and Wildlife outreach programming agree to INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND FOREVER HOLD THEM HARMLESS from any liability, and do hereby WAIVE any and all claims, demands, actions or causes of actions against them or each of them arising out of or related in any way to my/the participation in the Outreach Program, whether said claim, demand, or cause of action arises from the negligence of the State of Indiana, the Division of Fish and Wildlife or any other departments, agencies, commissions, boards, institutions, officials, employees or agents of the State, of from any other cause.

Event Name: Atterbury FWA Squirrel Dog Hunt
Date: TBA around Christmas vacation or January 2013
Time: Saturday 9:00 AM-2:00 PM
Details: Atterbury Fish & Wildlife Area, and local sportsmen will host a youth
squirrel hunt with dogs. The event is open to hunters age 17 and younger.
Those who are age 12 or younger should have an adult accompany them. Space maybe
limited and registration is required. Participants should bring their own
firearm, license and hunter orange garment. To register

you will be notified when a date is confirmed.

Event: Youth Squirrel Dog hunt

Time: 9:00 am
Details: Crosley will be hosting a squirrel hunt with dogs with the help of the Hoosier Tree Dog Alliance and Clifty Creek Coonhunters. Hunters 17 and under will have the opportunity to go on a guided squirrel hunt with treeing squirrel dogs. There will also be squirrel cleaning demonstrations. Lunch provided after the event. Event: Youth Waterfowl Season

Time: ½ hour before sunrise to sunset
Details: Youth age 15 or younger on the date of the hunt, and accompanied by an adult or at least 18 years of age, may hunt during this special youth waterfowl season. For more information, please call the Jasper-Pulaski office. Check-in will be by draw at the hunter check station. Drawings at 5 am and 12 noon CT or 6 am and 1 pm ET.
