A Crew Captain is an adult educator or youth leader who has completed a 6-hour Go FishIN basic training workshop, can borrow Go FishIN resources, and can share the Go FishIN program to youth.

  • Go FishIN Manual: This Indiana Division of Fish and Wildlife publication contains hands-on activities and lesson plans that help implement the program.
  • Future Fisherman Foundation resources (see F3 for details)
    • Hooked on Fishing—Not on Drugs® Instructor’s Guide
    • Sport Fishing Aquatic Resources Handbook
    • Fishing Is Simple Handbook (F.I.S.H.)
  • Additional educational materials: posters (e.g. species and ecosystems), identification guides, and brochures
  • Fishing equipment
    • Two-piece Shakespeare rods (box of 20)
    • Shakespeare spincast reels (container of 20)
    • Tackle box (containing bobbers, sinkers, hooks, and pliers)
