I've discovered that there's a lot to see and learn in the Hoosier state. The topography, the geology, the plants and animals, and the people are pretty diverse. And yet, there are similarities. Resources, ideas and beliefs tie us all together.

In the same way, there are similarities and differences between four great places to visit: Mississinewa, Salamonie and Huntington reservoirs and Versailles State Park.

The DNR Division of State Parks and Reservoirs manages these four state properties. The three lakes, collectively called the Upper Wabash Reservoirs, are located in the north, where glaciers flattened the land like giant ice bulldozers.

Versailles State Park is in the southeastern corner of the state where ridges rise high and shade limestone creek beds. Despite the differences in topography and location, these four sites all provide a variety of recreational opportunities for Hoosiers.
