26th Annual Surface Mined Land Reclamation Technology Transfer Seminar

Please accept my invitation to attend the 26th annual Indiana Society of Mining and Reclamation’s Annual Technology Transfer Seminar to be held December 3-4, 2012, at the Jasper Inn & Convention Center, Jasper, Indiana. We have a variety of topics and excellent speakers on the latest trends and technologies in reclamation and mining. There will be three concurrent workshops and a Monday evening poster session. The “Chemical Treatment of Wastewater from Coal Mines in Indiana” Workshop is approved for 5 technical hours of continuing education toward renewal of Indiana Wastewater licenses. The “Soils Workshop” is full of information concerning soils, their uses, protection, and more. The “Blaster Retraining” Workshop is approved for five hours of continuing education toward IN Blaster Certification renewal and IN Dept. of Homeland Security five hours renewal for Regulated Explosives Use-Operator and Regulated Use-Blaster License. Certificates will be provided for workshops that may be used as professional development hours for consideration of meeting requirements for licensed Indiana Professional Engineers.
