INSHARP (Indiana Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program)

The Indiana Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program recognizes smaller employers working towards exemplary safety and health management systems. INSHARP participation is open to all Hoosier employers.

    Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation
    Commissioner Lori A. Torres, Deputy Commissioner of INSafe, Sean Keefer and INSHARP Manager, John Duncan present an INSHARP Award to Sellersburg, Indiana's Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation.  Accepting the award on behalf of the company are Operations Manager, Anthony Ferrera, Human Resource Director, Jeff Reber, Safety Coordinator, Candy Caudill and Corporate Safety Director, Greg Morris.  The INSHARP Award Ceremony was held on April 8, 2008 in Sellersburg, Indiana.

     

    Cerro Wire, Inc.
    Commissioner Lori A. Torres, Deputy Commissioner of INSafe, Sean Keefer and INSafe Safety Consultant, Roy Pannell present an INSHARP Award to Crothersville, Indiana's Cerro Wire, Inc.  Accepting the award on behalf of the company are Plant Manager, Jared Argyle and Human Resource Manager, Pam Colwell.  The INSHARP Award Ceremony was held on March 17, 2008 in Crothersville, Indiana.

     

    First Chance Center
    Deputy Commissioner of INSafe, Sean Keefer; INSHARP Manager, John Duncan and INSafe Safety Consultant, Roy Pannell present an INSHARP Award to Paoli, Indiana's First Chance Center.  The INSHARP Award Ceremony was held on February 28, 2008 in Paoli, Indiana.

     

    Carter-Lee Building Components
    Commissioner Lori A. Torres, INSHARP Coordinator, John Duncan and INSafe Safety Consultant, Roy Pannell present an INSHARP Award to Mooresville, Indiana's Carter-Lee Building Components.  Accepting the award on behalf of the company are Pro-build North Safety Manager; Dan Frost, Regional Component Manager; Steve Stroder and Carter-Lee Building Component Safety Manager; Jerry Denny.  The INSHARP Award Ceremony was held on January 9, 2008 at the facility's site in Mooresville.

     

    Rauch, Inc.
    Commissioner Lori A. Torres, Deputy Commissioner of INSafe, Sean M. Keefer, INSHARP Coordinator, John Duncan and INSafe Safety and Health Consultants, Roy Pannell and Jay King present an INSHARP Award to New Albany, Indiana-based Rauch, Inc. employees.  Five Rauch, Inc. sites in New Albany were certified.  The INSHARP Award Ceremony for all five sites was held December 12, 2007.

     

    Gartland Foundry
    Commissioner Lori A. Torres, Deputy Commissioner of INSafe, Sean M. Keefer, INSHARP Coordinator, John Duncan and INSafe Safety Consultant, Roy Pannell present an INSHARP Award to Terre Haute, Indiana-based Gartland Foundry President, Bill Grimes and Personnel Manager, Larry Meddles and fellow safety committee employees.    The INSHARP Award Ceremony was held November 29, 2007.

     

    SIRS
    Commissioner Lori A. Torres, Deputy Commissioner of INSafe, Sean M. Keefer, INSHARP Coordinator, John Duncan and INSafe Safety Consultant, Roy Pannell present an INSHARP Award to Ferdinand, Indiana-based Southern Indiana Resource Solutions Industries’ employees.  The INSHARP Award Ceremony was held October 9, 2007 in Ferdinand, Indiana.

     

    Blue River Services
    Commissioner Lori A. Torres, Deputy Commissioner of INSafe, Sean M. Keefer, INSHARP Coordinator, John Duncan and INSafe Safety Consultant, Roy Pannell present an INSHARP Award to Corydon, Indiana-based Blue River Services’ employees.  Three Blue River Services sites were certified during the ceremony (Corydon, Palmyra and Salem).  The INSHARP Award Ceremony for all three sites was held October 9, 2007 in Corydon, Indiana.

     

    BioConvergence, LLC
    Commissioner Lori A. Torres, Deputy Commissioner of INSafe, Sean M. Keefer, INSHARP Coordinator, John Duncan and INSafe Safety Consultant, Roy Pannell present an INSHARP Award to Bloomington, Indiana-based BioConvergence LLC  Co-Founder, Alisa Wright and BioConvergence Pharmaceutical Research Scientist Alyson Norrick.  BioConvergence LLC is the youngest company to receive the award in Indiana.  The INSHARP Award Ceremony was held on September 24, 2007.
