The Department of Revenue allows you to check the status of your refund online or by telephone.
Note: To check you refund in either system, you will need your Social Security number and the exact amount of your refund.

Call (317) 233-4018 to access the automated refund line. Please allow three weeks before calling for an electronically filed return and 12 weeks for a paper return.
If you have a rotary telephone, call (317) 232-2105, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A Department representative will be happy to assist you.
