Employability Skills Benchmarks

The term “employability skills” applies to those skills previously called “soft” skills or workplace-ready skills.  Employability skills are those that all employers find necessary in order to find and sustain employment.  The skills within these Employability Skills Benchmarks have been vetted by Hoosier employers, and allow Hoosier educational and training providers to have a commonly understood set of skills that students should seek to demonstrate.

Introducing HIP Link

HIP Link is the State of Indiana’s new premium assistance program that is an optional component of the Healthy Indiana Plan or “HIP 2.0”.  HIP Link expands coverage to working, low-income Hoosiers who are 19-64 years old and have access to their employer-sponsored health insurance plans.

Why should Employers participate?

Employers can apply at any time to participate in the HIP Link program. There is no cost for employer participation. Learn more about the many benefits to employers offered by HIP Link.
