The On-the-Job Training (OJT) program is a great opportunity to begin your next career. On-the-job training offers unemployed or underemployed Hoosiers training for a new career while earning a paycheck. The benefit to OJT is that you can start your new career today, instead of traditional training which must be completed before starting your career. With this program you will be trained while working, so you start earning a paycheck while being trained.

You may be eligible if

  • You are unemployed or underemployed and over the age of 18
  • You have been laid off from another job and are unlikely to return to your previous occupation
  • You are a homemaker re-entering the workforce.

Enrollment

If you would like to participate in the OJT program, please contact your local WorkOne. The representatives will be able to assist you in your job search. You can also visit www.workoneworks.com to find your local WorkOne.
