The State of Indiana has contracted with L-1 Identity Solutions to provide fingerprinting services statewide effective 5/8/2009. L1 specializes in the operation of electronic fingerprint (live scan) networks and identity management services. Some of the differences with L1's process are:
Your fingerprints are not stored by L1, the FBI, or the State Police. They are only compared to the FBI and State Police databases. The State Police will no longer be able to help you with your fingerprint questions.
