Since the 1890’s, the Abbott family has been creating a variety of quality candies for Abbott’s Candy Shop. Housed in a building that was a church, warehouse and car dealership in the past, Abbott’s present factory in Hagerstown produces old-fashioned buttery caramels and 49 flavors of handmade chocolates. In 1993, the Noel family brought Abbott’s delicious treats to Indianapolis by opening a store on the north side. A second location was opened in Greenwood several years later.
