Halloween at the Governor's Residence 2011
In 2011, Governor Daniels and First Lady Cheri Daniels continued the tradition of hosting trick-or-treaters at the Governor’s Residence on Halloween night. Candies made by several Indiana companies were distributed. The governor and his supporting cast dressed as characters from The Addams Family in costumes provided by Landes Costumes by Rachel of Indianapolis. The governor and first lady played the roles of Gomez and Morticia. Previous costume themes have been Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Indianapolis 500, the 1950’s and Alice in Wonderland.
