Radon can get into any type of building. Radon typically moves up through the ground to the air above and into a building through cracks and other holes in the foundation. Buildings trap radon inside, where it can build up. Any building may have a radon problem. This means new and old, well-sealed and drafty, and buildings with or without basements.
