This Web site is dedicated to Indiana's Redesignation Petitions and Maintenance Plans for counties that now meet the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) has prepared these Redesignation Petitions and Maintenance Plans for U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) review and consideration for these counties to be redesignated from nonattainment to attainment, and classified as maintenance under the standards. The list is broken down by nonattainment area and provides additional information to support continued compliance with the standard(s).
