The State of Indiana encourages carpooling as a way to decrease congestion, reduce emissions on NO-ZONE action days, and save state employees' money.
Special parking areas in each garage are designated for individuals who carpool with other state employees and who have a carpool hang tag. In order to participate in the carpooling program, two (2) or more individuals must be state employees and complete the necessary carpooling form available below. Forms are also available from the garage manager . The carpooling forms must be submitted to the manager of the specific garage to be used. Upon approval, a special hanging tag will be issued which entitles the vehicle to park in the designated area.
More information about carpooling is available at the Greening the Government website.
