The Statehouse Tour Office regularly welcomes student groups to the Statehouse for tours and other learning opportunities. To help students and educators get the most out of their visit to Indiana's capitol, the Tour Office makes available to visitors general information about Indiana, the State's legislative process, and special Statehouse events of interests to school groups.

With advance notice, the information available below is also available in the Tour Office upon arrival. Simply let the Tour Office know your needs prior to your visit.

      The Indiana Supreme Court will host an re-enactment of an important, 1894 Tippecanoe County, Indiana case about women and voting. "My Place is in the Voting Booth: Hoosier suffragette Helem M. Gougar," will be presented Thursday, November 8 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Some 80 students, chosen from schools who signed up for the program, will have parts in the play, including suffragettes, voters, lawyers, judges, picketers and more.
