The Aviation Division has overall responsibility to manage the state's aircraft fleet and ensure compliance with all applicable FAA regulations.  This responsibility includes:

• Air transportation services
• Aircraft and crew scheduling
• Aircraft maintenance and recordkeeping
• Fleet planning (including disposals and acquisitions, and crew training)

The division provides the governor, executive staff, and state employees air transportation services, aerial photography, wild life observation, and light cargo transportation.  

The state-owned aircraft fleet currently consist of five (5) helicopters, and seven (7) fixed-wing aircraft.
