Contact to Contract: Roundtable Connection

To promote Minority and Women Business Enterprises, the Indiana Department of Administration is hosting Contact to Contract: Roundtable Connection, the 2008 Business Diversity Series event. Held in conjunction with Indiana Black Expo's Summer Celebration, the July 15 event will take place in the Indiana Government Center Conference Center. The Conference Center is located in the Indiana Government Center South building, 402 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
Contact to Contract: Roundtable Connection begins with a town hall panel discussion. Registrants will then attend one of three different workshops before joining us for lunch. After lunch, participants will take part in a series of stuctured roundtable discussions, the "Roundtable Connection," giving minority- and woman-owned businesses the opportunity to meet prospective buyers who may need their products or services. The roundtable format also encourages subcontractors to build relationships with each other, leveraging each others business offerings to improve contract participation. Buyers at the event will include state agencies, universities, casinos, and corporations.
Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. and the day will conclude with the Governor's Reception, which begins at 2:00 p.m. in the State House Rotunda. Lunch will be provided for all registered participants.
