Indiana's State and Federal Surplus operations facilitate the re-use of items purchased by State government, but no longer needed by the purchasing agency. In doing, the State maximizes the value of each purchase. The division also manages the eventual sale of items no longer needed by State and federal agencies, realizing as much revenue as possible for an item once it has reached the end of its life cycle.
