Lucas Oil Stadium
The Indiana Finance Authority is providing the financing for the construction of Lucas Oil Stadium and the Convention Center expansion. In October 2005, the IFA issued $400 million in bonds to pay for the initial phase of the Stadium construction. An additional $211 million bond issuance for Stadium construction was completed in March 2007.
In December 2005, the Authority issued a $40 million bond anticipation note to fund the design phase of the Convention Center expansion. The Authority expects to issue bonds for the construction of the Convention Center expansion in 2008.
