Welcome to the Indiana Brownfields Program. Our mission is to encourage and assist investment in the redevelopment of brownfield properties by helping communities via educational, financial, technical and legal assistance to identify and mitigate environmental barriers that impede local economic growth.
Thanks to all who participated in the Indiana Brownfields Program/U.S. EPA Workshop that was held on September 18, 2008, from 10 am - 4 pm EST at the Indiana Government Center South, Conference Room 19, Indianapolis, IN. There was something for everyone to learn– those new to the world of brownfields and those seasoned stakeholders. Participants were informed about state and federal brownfield funding and other resources, including important changes. For any post conference information, please contact Susan Tynes Harrington at sharrington@ifa.in.gov or 317-233-1504.
