Emergency Rule #12-461(E)
Temporarily adds the terms "calendar week", "dispensing device", "exempt event", and "worker" to 68 IAC 21. Temporarily amends 68 IAC 21 concerning the conduct of charity gaming activities by qualified organizations, manufacturers, and distributors licensed by the Indiana Gaming Commission. Temporarily repeals 68 IAC 21-1-5, 68 IAC 21-1-6, 68 IAC 21-1-16, and 68 IAC 21-2-7.

Notice of intent to adopt Rule, LSA 12-659
Adds 68 IAC 1-12.5 concerning promotional events hosted by casino licensees,
the submission requirements for hosting a promotional event, internal controls, and
deviations from the provisions of the rule. Amends 68 IAC 15-12-3 concerning live
gaming device fill procedures.
Commission staff will accept public comments on this Rule until August 10, 2013.
Commission staff anticipates bringing a Final Rule to the Commission for approval at the
Commission’s third quarterly business meeting in September, 2013. Factoring in time for
Attorney General and Governor’s Office approval, Commission staff estimates the rule will
be effective in October, 2013. This timeline is subject to change during the process, and
Commission staff will update the timeline if necessary. Public questions or comments

Proposed Rule #11-786
Codifies numerous non-code waivers, delegations, and policy statements. Repeals and
replaces obsolete terminology. Acknowledges IC 4-35 as an applicable law. Amends
definitions, reporting requirements, surveillance and Commission room requirements,
contract requirements, security and audit specifications, transfer requirements, and eviction
criteria. Expands use of “casino” and “deviation from provisions” language. Makes numerous
other substantive, technical, grammatical, ministerial, form, and style updates.
