On behalf of Governor Mitch Daniels, I welcome you to the Indiana Gaming Commission's website. The IGC has the statutory responsibility to license and exercise regulatory oversight of our 13 casinos. It is also charged with licensing and regulatory oversight over Charity Gaming which includes bingo, charity gaming nights, raffles, door prize drawings, festivals, water races, qualified drawings and the sale of pull tabs, punch boards and tip boards conducted by qualified non-profit organizations. Our gaming control officers and license control counselor combat illegal gambling throughout the state. On July 1, the State Athletic Commission was created and transferred to the Gaming Commission. It will provide licensing and regulatory oversight not only over boxing but mixed martial arts as well. We are dedicated to assuring all Hoosiers that gaming in Indiana is conducted with unquestioned integrity and strictly with the bounds of the law and regulations. If you are unable to find the answers to your questions, please contact us, and we will gladly assist.
