IHCDA's Compliance and Asset Management Division provides monitoring, technical assistance, and training for property owners, award recipients, and management companies participating in the Section 42, HOME, and CDBG programs. The Compliance and Asset Management Division conducts award closeout monitorings, monitors rental properties for ongoing compliance with state and federal requirements and works with owners who are out of compliance to correct the noncompliance issues.

Online Tax Credit Compliance Training

The following online training courses specific to IHCDA's Section 42 compliance requirements are available through the Housing Credit College/Elizabeth Moreland Consulting, Inc. Registration is $49.
Housing Credit 300: Compliance Basics for Indiana Properties

Note: This training has been reviewed and approved by IHCDA. However, registration and technical assistance is not available through IHCDA, nor does IHCDA receive any money from the registration fees.

On-Demand Tax Credit Owner Training

IHCDA has made it more convenient for owners, management companies, and anyone interested in rental tax credit housing to complete a RHTC training. Our On-Demand Owner Training comes on a flash drive that consists of a PowerPoint presentation with audio that can be viewed at the participant’s convenience, a post-quiz that must be taken after the presentation has been viewed, and a folder containing numerous tax credit reference materials. Once the PowerPoint has been viewed and the post-quiz successfully completed a completion certificate for the training will be issued. Cost of the training is $150 for the first participant, and then $75 for each additional person that needs to obtain a completion certificate. Requests for the training can be completed by filling out the PDF fillable On-Demand Owner Training Request Form and submitting it to IHCDA as instructed on the form.
