Rochester City Police Department

The Rochester City Police Department is now taking applications for the position of full-time police officer. Applications can be picked up at Rochester P.D., 312 Main St., Rochester, IN.  Written and Physical Agility testing will be December 3, 2016 - 9:00 am at Rochester City Police Dept. Lafayette Police Department

The Lafayette Police Department is accepting applications for the position of full-time police officer. Application deadline is Thursday, October 20, 2016 to be eligible for testing on Saturday, October 22. On the 22nd we will host both the written and physical tests. Town of Burns Harbor

The Town of Burns Harbor is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Deputy Marshal. Applicants must have high school diploma or GED, be ILEA or NILEA trained, and possess an Indiana driver’s license with good driving record. No applicant who has ever been convicted of a felony or been convicted of a misdemeanor within the past 5 years will be considered. Applications can be picked up at the Burns Harbor Police Department, 1240 North Boo Rd; Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:00PM starting September 19 until October 3rd, 2016.

Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department

Morgan County Sheriff’s Department

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for our 2017 Merit Deputy Eligibility list. Qualified candidates should go to and complete the application.  The application and necessary documents should be mailed or delivered to: 160 N. Hartford City Police Department

The Hartford City Police Department is now accepting applications for a Patrol Officer. All applicants must be at least twenty-one years of age, have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and have a valid Indiana driver’s license. Mooresville Metropolitan Police Department

The Mooresville Metropolitan Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. The benefits of the Mooresville Metropolitan Police Department include a clothing allowance, 2 weeks vacation, 16-18 holidays, 3 personal days, and 10 sick days per year. Grant County Sheriff’s Department

The Grant County Sheriff’s Department is accepting applications for 2016-2017 Merit Deputy eligibility list until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016. Applications must be picked up and returned to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, 214 East 4th. Street Marion IN. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license at time of application. A physical test, written test, urine screen, interviews and extensive background check will be required.

La Porte County Sheriff’s Department

The La Porte County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting employment applications for merit patrol deputy. Starting pay for a patrol deputy is $44,790.00. Applications can be found at the department’s web site; or can be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office. The deadline for submitting an application, with a cover letter, is September 23, 2016. The tentative date for the physical agility and written test is October 6, 2016. South Bend Police Department

The South Bend Police Department is currently taking applications for patrol officers.
