Hiring: Bloomington Police Department

The Bloomington Police Department is hiring a Probationary Police Officer. Applicants must have a valid certification through the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) or from another state that can meet ILEA standards for Indiana certification.

Applications can be dropped off or mailed to: Bloomington Police Department, Attn: Captain J. Qualters, 220 E. Third Street, Bloomington, IN 47401. Hiring: Monroe County Sheriff's Department

The Monroe County Sheriff's Department is accepting applications for the position of full-time Sheriff's Deputy. Applicants with college credit and prior law enforcement experience preferred.

Completed applications must be turned in to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office at 301 N. College Avenue Bloomington, IN 47404 no later than 4:00 pm on June 21st, 2013.

Hiring: Mount Vernon Police Department

The Mount Vernon Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of patrolman. Applications can be obtained at the police department or online at http://www.mountvernon.in.gov/. All applications must be completed and returned by 4:00 PM on May 29th, 2013.

A physical agility test and written exam, will be held on Friday, May 31st, 2013, at 8:00 AM, at the Mount Vernon High School, 700 Harriet Street. Appropriate athletic apparel should be worn.

Hiring: Sweetser Police Departmert

The Sweetser Police Department is currently accepting applications for Reserve and Part-Time Police Officers. Applicants for Part-Time must be Academy Certified. The Part-Time positions will consist of mainly evenings and weekends. Reserve applicants with experience is a plus, but not required.  Application deadline is May 31, 2013.
