2007 Transportation Plan

The INDOT Long Range Plan has been updated and integrated with the Major Moves 2006-2015 Construction Plan. The Plan provides INDOT and our planning partners including the state’s Metropolitan Planning Organizations and other key transportation stakeholders with a long range vision of how the state’s transportation system will develop in the future.

2030 Long Range Transportation Plan

The use of Adobe Acrobat Bookmarks makes viewing the Chapters much easier. To Activate, Select Window/Bookmarks on the toolbar or press F5 to toggle on the keyboard. Using Thumbnails (F4) will also assist in viewing the pages.

Plan Update Activities and Topics



2030 Technical Planning Tools

Public Input is Vital

INDOT established a proactive public involvement process in the planning and development of transportation projects that will introduce and solicit feedback to the 2007 Plan Update. Three activities associated with this process are listed below:

  • Annual Open House District Meetings were held in late July/early August 2006 to discuss the 2007 Plan Update.
  • Meetings were held with Metropolitan Planning Organizations in late January 2007 to discuss the draft project listings.
  • The revised project listings were discussed during the Annual Open House District Meetings held in early May 2007.

INDOT invites your input on improving the content of future additions of this document. Please provide comments and suggestions by:
