Jay County Prosecutor - Wesley A Schemenaur
Prior to his election and taking office on January 1, 2011, Wesley A. Schemenaur served as Jay County's Chief Deputy Prosecutor from 2007-2011, originally joining the local Prosecutor's Office in 2006 as a Deputy Prosecutor.
Prosecutor Schemenaur is a graduate of Jay County High School, Ball State University and Ohio Northern University School of Law.
Community involvement is very important to Wesley Schemenaur and he is actively involved in the Jay County Community serving on the board of directors of the United Way of Jay County, Arts Place, Inc., The Jay County Hospital Foundation and the Portland Rotary Club.
