Welcome to the home page for the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Health Care Quality Resource Center.  The Indiana Health Care Quality Resource Center is intended to provide tools and resources to assist health care facilities, agencies, and centers in providing quality health care.  The information may also be educational to patients and families who wish to learn more about care issues. 

We hope this Indiana Health Care Quality Resource Center will provide useful tools and resources to promote health care quality improvement. The Indiana Health Care Quality Resource Center is designed around health care topics.  To facilitate ease of use, each care area is organized using a common framework that provides tools, education and training resources, related regulations, and additional resources. 

About the Health Care Quality Resource Center

The Indiana Health Care Quality Resource Center was developed by the ISDH and first published on the ISDH Web site on July 2009.  The Center is a part of the ISDH Health Care Quality and Regulatory Services Commission.  The ISDH serves as the survey agency for state licensing and federal certification of health care facilities and agencies and promotes health care quality through quality improvement initiatives and educational activities.

  • The ISDH Healthcare Associated Infection Consumer Brochure is available in both English and Spanish.  The Brochure is available to Indiana health care facilities, organizations, and individuals at no cost.  The brochures come in packets of 50 brochures or single copies.  To order brochures, contact Nancy Gilbert of the Indiana State Department of Health at (317) 233-7616 or ngilbert@isdh.in.gov.
