Community Donations

The Indiana State Museum welcomes requests for charitable donations from nonprofit organizations.

All requests for a charitable donation are to be directed to:

Donation request requirements:

  • Requests should be received in writing and submitted either by mail or e-mail. All requests should be on the official letterhead of the organization. Click here to send an e-mail.
  • Requests should be received at least 40 days in advance.
  • Only nonprofit or 501c3 organizations may request donations.  For-profit organizations seeking donations to benefit a nonprofit activity or event will also be considered.  Please provide your organization’s nonprofit federal identification number.
  • No more than one donation is made to any group or its affiliate within a calendar year.
  • Donations are limited to four museum tickets.  Tickets are valid for 6 months from the date of issue and are valid for museum exhibits only. Museum membership donations are offered when possible.
