The O’Bannon Great Hall and Ball Family Terrace

Truly a unique venue, the Governor Frank O’Bannon Great Hall features a soaring 100-foot ceiling and the 55-foot tall Indiana Obelisk created by world-renowned Hoosier artist, Robert Indiana.   Above the O’Bannon Great Hall, the Washington Street-level bridge adds interest and dimension, as well as extra space for your event.  Your guests will enjoy spectacular views of the Canal and Military Park and will have the opportunity to explore the Indiana’s Treasures Cases on the first level. Weather permitting, the expansive Ball Family Terrace is a great addition to any evening.

  • Available for evening events only.
  • Reception for up to 500 or banquet seating for up to 330 at round tables of ten.   
  • Adjacent to the 250-seat auditorium.
  • Hors d’oeuvres, buffet or plated dinner service is available.
  • Additional seating for up to 50 on Washington Street-level bridge (available for an additional fee).

Pricing:

  • Sunday - Thursday 
    $1650 rental
    $3,300 catering minimum
  • Friday - Saturday
    $2,200 rental
    $5,000 catering minimum

Applicable sales tax applies to rental fees.  Holiday rates may also apply.
