The Rapp Reception Hall provides dramatic views of the Capitol dome and the downtown Indianapolis skyline.  Located on the third level of the museum, the hall overlooks the lower levels of the museum’s Core Galleries including the continuously swinging Foucault Pendulum.  Adjacent to the hall are the NiSource, Inc. Gallery of Indiana Art and two of the museum’s Changing Galleries.  Based on availability, the NiSource Gallery is included in the rental fee.

  • Available for evening events only.
  • Standing reception for up to 200 or seating for up to 90 at round tables of eight.
  • Convenient elevator access from the public lobby.
  • Hors d’oeuvres, buffet or plated dinner service is available.

Pricing:

  • Sunday - Thursday
    $900 rental
    $1,650 catering minimum
  • Friday - Saturday
    $1,200 rental
    $2,200 catering mimimum

Applicable sales tax applies to rental fees.  Holiday rates may also apply.
