Education Trunks

civil_war_trunk.jpgEducation Trunks give your students hands-on activities to help them learn about Indiana's art, science, and culture. Our interactive trunks include props such as books, "artifacts," posters and activities. Each trunk also includes a teacher's manual. All trunks fulfill selected Indiana Academic Standards.

You may borrow trunks for a two-week period, which includes shipping time. All trunks will be shipped on Monday and must be returned to the museum by Monday. The cost is $15 per trunk. All shipping charges are paid through the generous support of UPS. Call 317.232.1637 for more information or to reserve an educational trunk.

Trunk programs include:

Ernie Pyle, World War II newspaper columnist, was born near Dana, Indiana on Aug. 3, 1900.
