School Group Tours

tour_distance.jpgLooking for an engaging experience and a personal encounter with the museum galleries? Take your class on a guided educational experience with one of our four themed tours. All tours fulfill select  Indiana Academic Standards.

Tours are conducted by registration only. Please check back for information about tours for the 2008-2009 school year.

School Group Tours last approximately one hour and cost $2 per student. Combine a School Workshop with a School Group Tour for a combo fee of $3 per student. Call 317.232.1637 to schedule a guided tour on one of the topics listed below.

Using a pendulum, Jean Bernard Leon Foucault is remembered as the first man to demonstrate the rotation of the earth without using anything outside of the Earth, such as the sun or stars, as a point of reference. The museum houses a Foucault Pendulum.
