SUMMER CAMP FAIR RETURNS FOR 19TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR
FREE One Stop Summer Planning Event Scheduled at the Indiana State Museum


Indianapolis, IN (MPP) January 30, 2008 – One of the nation's largest one-stop summer planning events is back with nearly 100 camps and programs, entertainment, informative speeches, prizes, mascots, demonstrations, hands-on summer safety and much more.

The Indiana State Museum will be hosting this one day event giving parents the opportunity to gather important information on summer camps and programs while providing kids of all ages a day of fun at the Indiana State Museum. Nearly 100 camps and programs will be on hand to give parents a variety of information on what they have to offer. Exhibitors not only includes traditional overnight camps, but also special day camps and programs that specialize in acting, special needs, science, wilderness and foreign travel, arts and crafts, gymnastics, space adventure, sports and more!

This event is FREE TO THE PUBLIC from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Indiana State Museum, 650 W. Washington St. Indianapolis, Indiana 46204. We have also secured FREE parking for all visitors to this one-day event when parking in the White River State Park Garage.

Families are encouraged to bring the whole family to meet with representatives, listen in on informative speeches and presentations, meet celebrities and mascots, get free stuff and register to win lots of cool prizes. Camps represented are for ages 3-18+. Many camps offer financial aid assistance and welcome children of all ages and abilities. Also, representatives from the American Camp Association, Indiana will be on hand to help answer any questions parents and children might have. 

The 19th Annual Summer Camp Fair is sponsored by: Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent, Radio Disney, The American Camp Association, Indiana and The Indiana State Museum and is presented by Indy's Child Parenting Magazine. For more information visit www.indyschild.com
